Batch breaks 900,000 km driving record! Another major milestone for China's new energy buses

   China's new energy buses have once again proved their strength with outstanding performance.

At the beginning of 2024, a batch of 208 pure electric buses travelling between Huizhou and Shenzhen

in Guangdong Province crossed 900,000 kilometres of operation mileage one after another, which set a 

historical record for the longest operation mileage of pure electric buses in China.

   The buses belong to Huizhou Dongjiang Bus Transportation No. 3 Co., Ltd. and they are still running 

on the road after successfully crossing 900,000 kilometres of trouble-free operation, constantly setting 

new records.

    More than ten years ago, China's new energy bus industry bravely embarked on a development journey

under the double challenges of technical bottlenecks and market gaps. However, the answer to the question 

of whether the road ahead will be rough and bumpy or smooth is still to be found in practice.

The support and promotion of the policy level has played a crucial role in the face of constant doubts within

 and outside the industry, and in 2015, the Ministry of Transport issued the "Implementing Opinions on Accelerating 

the Promotion and Application of New Energy Vehicles in the Transportation Industry", which has provided a strong

 boost to the rapid development of new energy buses in China.
