35 BRT Pure Electric Buses Delivered to Portugal

   In recent years, independent bus brands have accelerated the pace of "going to sea", and even opened "beach landing" in Europe, the birthplace of the world's buses.

Among them, Chinese bus companies, represented by Zhongtong Bus, have vigorously explored the European market by virtue of their profound accumulation in the

field of new energy as well as rich overseas promotion experience, contributing to the green transformation and development of the local road traffic with Chinese solutions.

    On 25th April 2024, 35 Zhongtong 18m BRT pure electric buses were formally delivered to Portuguese customers, adding new colours to the journey of Chinese buses to the sea.

    This project is a new large-capacity electrified BRT project that has been upgraded by the City of Coimbra over the past decade and covers the whole territory, featuring wide coverage,

 long mileage, and exclusive operating right of way, which will play a pivotal role in improving the convenience of travelling for the whole region, and is of exemplary significance in Portugal and Europe.

In this process, Zhongtong pure electric BRT buses will also be the main force.
